Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, and flex spending. I will provide all receipts for services, so you and I will have a record of all transactions.
I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment or are unable to give me 24-hour’s notice, you will be charged the full fee for the session. With this being said, I do understand life stressors arise, and we can talk on an individual basis for expectations to be made.
I do not at this time participate in any insurance networks. The reason is that, as your therapist, I am committed to providing you with the best possible care without needing to involve insurance companies.
Many psychotherapists use insurance for psychotherapy – and many times – these psychotherapists must give you a psychiatric diagnosis, which you, your partner, or family members may not need. This diagnosis becomes part of your permanent mental health record.
Your insurance company will want detailed personal information about you and your treatment care and can decide the length of treatment for you, your partner, or family members.
By not participating in insurance networks, I am able to assure you of absolute confidentiality and the flexibility to choose the length of treatment that works best for you. I will submit an out-of-network super bill to your insurance company each month to see if you can claim an out-of-network benefit.
