Family therapy is essential to healing your family emotionally, physically and spiritually. Each member of your family contributes to the pieces of the puzzle that make a family whole. Each family member impacts one another, and coming together as a family allows for healing and opening up of communication between siblings, parents, and grandparents. Families carry legacies and alliances across generations. Family therapy allows for aspects of our lives to be opened up to create healing and to heal from family wounds. We learn how to interact from our families. We learn what healthy and dysfunctional relationships look like because of our families. Families are an ever-circular way of connecting and are ever-changing. Developing and maintaining a healthy functional family is of the utmost importance while engaging in family therapy.
